ROTOCON South Africa sets a new industry benchmark with purpose-built facility and demo centre
ROTOCON has opened its new 2,000 sqm purpose-built facility and demo centre in Johannesburg, South Africa, bringing advanced flexo printing technology, engineering expertise and integrated customer support under one roof.

ROTOCON has officially unveiled its new 2,000 sqm facility and demo centre in Longmeadow, Johannesburg, marking a significant strategic investment in the future of the label and packaging industry. The move from its previous facility took place in April.
The investment in the new facility is further reinforced by the Aengenvoort family’s direct purchase of the building, reflecting their long-term commitment to both South Africa and the continued advancement of the label and packaging industry.
Purpose-built to set a new standard in the sector, the centre brings together advanced technology, engineering capability and collaborative spaces within a fully integrated environment.
At the heart of the new facility is a state-of-the-art demo centre, featuring a fully equipped ROTOCON 450 flexo printing press. The centre allows customers to engage directly with live printing technology, enabling them to validate performance, optimise applications, and identify new opportunities in real time.
Through strategic partnerships with leading suppliers, ROTOCON has developed an integrated ecosystem that ensures compatibility, process optimisation, and consistently high-quality output for its customers.
Operational strength is embedded throughout the facility. Customised spare parts management and digital ink storage systems enhance responsiveness and minimise downtime.
The site also houses an advanced tooling and specialised engineering division, supported by a highly skilled technical team, a fleet of delivery vehicles, and a modern manufacturing environment. This capability enables ROTOCON to deliver complete, high-performance solutions that extend well beyond mere equipment supply.
All operations are aligned with ISO-certified standards, reinforcing the company’s commitment to quality, reliability and consistency across every aspect of its service offering.
The facility also features a contemporary professional environment, including a dedicated reception area, executive boardroom, and modern office spaces. These facilities have been designed to encourage collaboration, strengthen customer engagement and elevate the overall experience for partners and visitors.
“This investment reflects a clear strategic intent to strengthen our position in the market and deliver exceptional value to our customers,” said Patrick Aengenvoort, ROTOCON Executive Director and head of the facility. “We have invested significantly to ensure best-in-class service and support, while creating a high-performance environment where our team can grow, collaborate and consistently deliver excellence.”
ROTOCON is headquartered in Cape Town and Siek, Germany (near Hamburg), with a facility and demo centre in Siek, as well as satellite branches in Cape Town, Durban, the USA, and Asia.
